Enforce Human Rights Discrimination claims in regard to FCRSA Enforcement for "Ban-the-Box" legislation to give Returning Citizens a "Fair Chance" by new Criminal Justice Reforms and protect "Gender Neutral" Restrooms for OHR “#safebathrooms” campaign.
Assist in the development of a variety of administrative and program support functions.
Collect and compile data, particularly Complainant and Respondent information, for use in connection with discrimination cases.

COURT ASSISTANT NEW YORK STATE UNIFIED COURT SYSTEM
SUPREME COURT, CIVIL & CRIMINAL TERMS
The Supreme Court is the trial court of unlimited original jurisdiction; but it generally hears cases that are outside the jurisdiction of other trial courts of more limited jurisdiction. In New York City, the Court exercises civil jurisdiction and jurisdiction over felony cases (in which a sentence in excess of one year may be imposed).
The NYC Criminal Court handles misdemeanors (crimes punishable by fine or imprisonment of up to one year) and lesser offenses. The Court also conducts arraignments and preliminary hearings for felonies (crimes punishable by imprisonment of more than one year).
The Civil Court of the City of New York has jurisdiction over civil cases involving amounts up to $25,000 and other civil matters referred to it by the Supreme Court. It includes a small claims part for informal dispositions of matters not exceeding $5,000 and a landlord and tenant/housing part for landlord-tenant matters of unlimited amounts and housing code violations.
